Today is the start of Camp Texas 4000, the week before we leave for Alaska we have a lot of team stuff to get done. To make this more official it was given the name "Camp Texas 4000." Besides doing committee work, packing the trailers, packing our stuff and having team meetings/dinners every night we will be riding 80 miles Monday, 60 miles Tuesday and 40 miles Wednesday. I think it is going to be quite a crazy week!
We leave from campus on Friday June 6. We were informed this week that there will be many people from the community coming to wish us luck and congratulations on making it as far as we have. I am excited to get this show on the road, it has been a long time coming. Although I am excited about leaving it seems like there is too much to fit into the next four days.
