A week out

Things couldn't be crazier in my life right now. I am in the process of moving all my stuff to storage, cleaning my apartment from top to bottom, and trying to finish up everything for my trip this summer: committee work, packing, picking up the last odds and ends, etc... Tomorrow marks a week from the day I will be leaving Austin for my 70 day trek through the country to Alaska. I am starting to have to say my goodbyes which I have been dreading the entire semester. I am too emotional and goodbyes are hard.

Tomorrow I am going home to take Jezebel to my parents house for the summer, although she is just a dog I think it maybe the hardest goodbye I have to make.

Good morning, K2..thinking of you daily with love and blessings to get you ready for this weekend. We are looking forward to driving out to Dodge in a couple of weeks to meet you. Will you have free-time to visit with your dad, mom, and anyone who wants to meet and see you? Will you be able to let us know where you will be staying? Will be in touch...hugs and love, Nana and Grandpa
